Multiple potholes on both sides of road, over approximately 100 metres., 18th February

Sun, 18 Feb 2018 11:42:32 +0000
54.479621 -6.217808

The top layer of this section of the Clarehill Road (between Berwick View and the Clarehill Plastics factory) has effectively disintegrated in multiple locations across a 100m length of the road. The gravel and loose clippings created by the disintegrating surface is piled up at the side of the road, which not only damages passing cars but more importantly also creates a skid hazard. The pot holes left behind are too many to count - the entire top surface would really need to be replaced before it detiorates any further and/or causes a serious accident, given the speed at which cars travel down the hill.
