Condition of the Road Surface (Lylehill Road), 5th April
Over the past 6-12 months a number of sever potholes have formed over the length of the Lylehill Road - in particular the stretch between Lylehill Presbyterian Church and the join with the Ballyutoag Road. This seems to have been caused by the increasing number of heavy goods vehicles using the road as a throughway.
The potholes are of a sufficient size that could cause damage to a small car's suspension / wheel and are on stretches of the road where cars could be travelling at 60MPH - a dangerous combination.
