Blocked drains causing flooding at West and South Horrington, 17th February
The road drains around the West Horrington turning off Bath Road are blocked and have been for about 11 days now. This has been reported to the council who seemed to send somebody out to inspect and photograph the issue. Water that would usually be taken away by the blocked drains is running down the road. My property is down the hill from these blocked drains and has flooded twice in less than two weeks as a result. The blockages seem to be mud and gravel.

Dead small deer at side of road., 22nd May
On A39, Bristol Hill (North out of Wells), approaching top of Hill before turning off to Haydon. Fairly sure its between the sign warning of "bend ahead" and the direction sign "Pen Hill. Bath A39/Bristol A37, and right turn to Haydon". On the lefthand side of the road is a small deer, dead I think.

Road Corrosion Bath Road B3139/B3135!, 22nd February
Due to heavy rains, edges & surfaces of the road have corroded away and shortened the width of the road for larger vehicles. You can see tyre tread marks on the grass where some have slightly gone off-road.
Road resurfacing is needed upto West Horrington 40mph sign.

2 very deep 10" inch + pot holes on the left side of the road B3135 near the entrance to the farm., 17th February
2 Very Deep (10" deep x 15" wide) pot holes have appeared (in the same place as previous! Very dangerous and in Urgent need of repair! On the left side travelling towards Green Ore. This is a re-offending pothole and needs to be repaired properly - as heavy machinery is tearing up this part of the road! Very DANGEROUS now - especially in the dark and wet weather!

10 inches wide; 2 or 3 inches deep approx, 26th March
Pothole close to kerb on east side of the road so hit when driving correctly on side of the road.. Demolished front tyre. A couple of cars tried to help but couldn't fit the jack and twice when lifted the car rolled forward. Fortunately a local man tried unsuccessfully, but went home and collected another jack and was able to change the tyre. Nasty experience.

Terrible road surface from Green Ore junction to top of Wells hill, 13th October
Terrible road surface from Green Ore junction to top of Wells hill - very difficult to pull out of Priddy Road junction as road surface completely is badly worn away and tyre traction difficult. Not good when riding a motorbike along this stretch of A39 either - the wheels get caught in the ruts. Needs resurfacing. Been like this for well over a year, more like 2 years.
