This flooding is still occurring when it rains as the silt has still not been sorted. The drains need thoroughly checking and cleaning. This is a continual issue which is not being addressed. The fields need to ensure runoff does not meet the roads.

Finger post Sign Damaged, 12th January
The finger post sign has been hit by the grass verge / hedge cutting tractor and one or the finger signs has been snapped off. The snapped finger sign is still there on the ground and can most probably be reduced if someone gets there before it’s nicked / lost. I haven’t checked the other that are still attached for damage so these may need remedial work also.

The Left hand 30mph terminal sign is faded on Stockhill Rd, Chilcompton, adjacent junction Coalpit Lane. It is normally the only one that can be seen due to foliage growth on the Right hand side of the road.
