FIXMYSTREET IN BA3 4NU
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of BA3 4NU:
Increasingly bad collapse of road opposite our house on B 3114 on bank of River Chew, 30th April
A car came off the B3114 and ran into the River Chew a few months ago. This meant the bank of the road edge collapsed towards the river. The damage has increased as a result of flooding in the river, with increased depth and flow causing erosion. More stones are falling down the bank and into the river and I fear the road will slip down too in time. This happened on the road opposite our house on the west side of the bankout side our garden. Huge Potholes right on junction, 20th February
They seem to have fixed one smaller pothole just before the junction from recent gas works. However, what has been missed are the even bigger and more dangerous potholes (note: Multiple) right on the junction and into the A39. It causes people to make daft decisions when pulling out of Lower Street and on to the main road to avoid them, so is a dangerous hazard.

Badly damaged road at junction, 20th February
I reported a pothole in a service trench and this was promptly fixed but the huge hole in the main road adjacent to the pothole wasn't fixed. I thought the general area would be fixed, I didn't realise I had to identify each hole! Please can you come back and fix the rest of this junction to make it safe?

This pothole has been there several weeks, has been growing larger, and now more rapidly so. It poses a serious risk of damage to vehicles, and in the case of motorcycles, a high risk of serious bodily injury. There are several similar ones along this stretch of road (between Chewton Mendip and Hedge) and they require urgent rectification if injury or fatalities are to be avoided.
