Appalling Workmanship, 8th April
Refer my earlier report about this, "Deteriorating Potholes and Road Surface" reported by you as "Fixed" on 3rd April. Let's start with a positive, we were grateful for a prompt response and where the water (which continues to flow significantly due to blocked drains) just flows across the lower repairs it's much better. However, it surely must have been obvious to any competent contractor that the problem of the uppermost, seriously cracked, depression (a source of the water and by that time extending nearly halfway across the narrow road surface) was not going to be sorted by just dumping a bit of wet tarmac in an existing, unprepared watery hole and running away before anyone noticed? Apparently not. So, much to no-one's surprise, as a result of this appalling workmanship the supposed "repair" has, in less than a week, cracked, is sinking into the unstable substrate (whatever it is), is pulling away from the edges of the ragged hole and impressively erupting as the water finds a new way to come out of the pothole. See photo. If the crass waste of your scarce highways funding in this abomination of a "repair" wasn't so sad, it would be funny. Any chance you could get someone competent to sort it out properly? Thanks.

Pigeon poo, 3rd April
This is not the first time I have reported this issue at ecqueek Lane peasedown st john, - this is our local park, I came here today - and I can't put my 2 year old on the swings as it's COVERED in bird excrement. She is now in floods of tears. You resolved the exact same problem when I reported it last time by putting spikes on top of the swings frames but that hasn't seemed to have lasted for some reason???? It's disgusting that the children can't use this play equipment because of this issue - and as we pay over £216 per month for council tax, I think we should be entitled to the use of a clean safe playpark????? Please can someone resolve this issue ASAP . Many thanks from an even more stressed out mum!
