Over grown lane and debris causing problems, 9th April
The pedestrian part of Alvington Lane (between Alvington Lane and Samways Close) is becoming increasingly unkempt. The plants, shrubs and trees are not being trimmed often enough, and when they are the cuttings are not taken away. The cuttings have recently been pushed up to the banks of the lane which then get blown or washed down the lane, causing the entire lane to look messy and oftern cause trip hazards. The debris left in the Lane sometimes is aweful and has resulted in the walkable width being almost halved in some areas. I also noticed last summer the brambles were so out of control that they would hang from height to head level. My wife was even caught in the neck by a low hanging bramble resultingvin a nasty cut. I would likecto request that the Lane is trimmed and cleared of debris more frequently. Many thanks
