Over grown shrubs covering pavement, 27th April
This is at No 1 Wimbledon Stock Way. There appears to be a bad element here who becomes offensive and threatening when spoken to about this problem. This is the only property in this road allowing plants to take over the pavement and if left to continue the public pavement will dissapear, there is also a risk to partially sighted and disabled people who could trip and suffering injury. The simple solution would be to cut back to the property line but the owner simply refuses rudely. As a public right of way this comes under highways and needs to be cleared like everyone else does. I see the options are for the council to contact the owner to correct the issue and cut back to the correct property line or if they continue to refuse, send in contractors to do it and bill them directly either by order or extra charge on council tax

Broken drain cover on Thorne Lane near the roundabout, backing onto Roche Close has broken again, 16th April
The drain cover on Thorne Lane near the roundabout, backing onto Roche Close has broken again. It causes noise everytime a car drives over it - can be every 30 seconds, depending on traffic, that can be heard all over the local vicinity, but in particular Roche Close. This was fixed around a year ago, but has broken again. Please fix asap as it is disturbing sleep. This has been reported by several people and has been an issue for around 6 weeks. I fear eventually it will cause an accident on Thorne Lane

Over grown lane and debris causing problems, 9th April
The pedestrian part of Alvington Lane (between Alvington Lane and Samways Close) is becoming increasingly unkempt. The plants, shrubs and trees are not being trimmed often enough, and when they are the cuttings are not taken away. The cuttings have recently been pushed up to the banks of the lane which then get blown or washed down the lane, causing the entire lane to look messy and oftern cause trip hazards. The debris left in the Lane sometimes is aweful and has resulted in the walkable width being almost halved in some areas. I also noticed last summer the brambles were so out of control that they would hang from height to head level. My wife was even caught in the neck by a low hanging bramble resultingvin a nasty cut. I would likecto request that the Lane is trimmed and cleared of debris more frequently. Many thanks

Tree Preservation Order application, 5th April
The trees on the Preston School playing field are constantly being sawn down, bit by bit, week after week.
This is an area important to wildlife including badgers, foxes and birds of prey.
These trees require protection which, if removed, would have a significant negative impact on the local environment and its enjoyment by the public.
