Road surface badly eroded, 3rd May
There are 2 slip roads North and Southbound to the A303 at Chapel Cross at South Cadbury. The road surfaces on both sides are badly eroded and in urgent need of repair. Although your map states this is not the responsibility of National Highways, and is the responsibility of the Local Authority their reporting map also shows that they do not maintain these road sections. As the slip roads were not there prior to the A303 Sparkford dual carriage way opening (I believe in 1985), it is reasonable to conclude that these slip roads are the responsibility of the National Highways, not the Local Authority. Please advise to whom this problem should be reported as neither authority appear to be taking responsibility
