Restriction of pavement along Timsbury Road, 4th April
The verge has slumped considerably onto the pavement along Timsbury Road opposite Little Lane heading towards Tilley Farm. In parts, the pavement is barely 30cm wide. This needs clearing to improve access along this busy road at the point where the speed limit changes from 30 to 40mph.

Verge/hedge restricting carriageway along Ferenberge Close, 4th April
Vegetation is protruding into the carriageway along Ferenberge Close adjacent to properties 20 and 21 The Mead. This length of road is already reduced to a single track due to the number of parked cars adjacent to nos 8-10 of Ferenberge Close. Also, some verge slumping into the road has occurred due to old stone walls collapsing. As this is the route to both the village hall and the community shop, as well as the road to more than 20 homes, it is a well-used lane by pedestrians and drivers and the restriction on the carriageway is causing issues and complaints.

Drains overwhelmed causing flooding to garages. Drains require checking for obstructions/flushing through., 4th April
We live on the lowest part of a cul-de-sac, No 5 Rotcombe Vale.
Not only does water from the rest of Rotcombe Vale flow down to us, we also get run-off from Eastover Road. (Water flows down the metalled road to some garages at the very bottom of Eastover Road, bears left as gravity takes it past an oak tree and down a muddy path into Rotcombe Vale.) These combined sources of run-off quickly overwhelm the drains outside my house and by the adjoining garages. The very lowest drain is outside my garage. If these drains block, my garage floods and bee knee-deep on numerous occasions.
The dirty water regularly bursts up through the inspection cover outside my house.
About five years ago, a drain inspection team with a vehicle gave the drains a clear out/flushed through and it solved the problem.
But heavy rains this winter have reignited the issue.

Road flooding affecting local houses, 4th April
Flooding caused by 2 blocked road drains and causing flooding affecting 1 foundry cottages was reported earlier this year. Apparently, one of the drains was cleared some weeks later.
However, today after just 15 mins of rain and the same drains are overflowing and water is again is affecting 1 foundry cottages and adjacent houses. Looking at the roadside drain, there is excessive silt being washed down the road due to the rain.
Please can a permanent fix be done to these roadside drains. It seems that the slightest rainfall and the drains become blocked causing the local properties to flood.

All local drains on hill blocked., 4th April
We have one drain at the top of our drive partially working. All other drains on the hill blocked. Water runs down our drive because of insufficient drainage and floods our garage, causing property damage. Drains need unblocking and additional drainage needs to be added. Existing problem which is not being addressed as there is insufficient drainage for all the run off from the fields.

Old Lane, Farmborough, Bath, BA2 0BW, 4th April
This is related to the road closure at the junction of the A39/Timsbury Road. Old Lane is ONE WAY, but cars and vans are taking a short cut AGAINST the one way, i.e. going from the A39 to Timsbury Road and bypassing the road closure. There is likely to be an accident. The Old Lane junction with Timsbury Road needs to be closed off, therefore, short cuts either way cannot be taken and the diversion used.
