ACTION: COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
As Yeovil Neighbourhood team we like going out speaking to people and listening to their concerns.
When going out we visit St Peters Church on Coronation Street during their keep warm sessions. It gives us and opportunity to speak to members of community about their local concerns. We also attend session with the Youths to engage and spend time together. We attend local schools- WESTFIELD ACADEMY AND PRESTON SCHOOL to work alongside teachers and carrying out u2018one to oneu2019 sessions with the students.
We do a lot work with local housing associations in relation to tacking Anti-Social Behaviour and Domestic Abuse. Working together

ISSUE: We are aware of an increase in Anti-Social Behaviour
ACTION: STREET BEGGING
We are aware that there are still several street beggaru2019s dotted around the town centre of Yeovil. This is causing concern to the local community and we are working with Somerset Council and other key agencies to address this and to offer support.
