These drains have been blocked for over four years and have not been attended to. A road sweeper just brushes road material into the drain and does not remove it. The consequences are that water traverses the road rather than being picked up in the drains. The sub base of the road is damaged as could be seen if the problem is seen by walking rather than just driving about. BANES said that it would be attended to over 2 years ago and still nothing has been done to remedy the problem

Road outside the shops on Holcombe Lane, 26th April
Multiple potholes and road surface falling apart. Dangerous to ride a cycle over it and an accident will happen. The road surface has been really poor for over a year.

Dog poo bags left repeatedly, 25th April
Dog poo bags are repeatedly left on Pleasant Place or thrown into our bins. Yesterday a dog poo bag left in my cardboard my recycling bin burst.
Please can a dog poo bin be placed near Pleasant Place on the High Street to give dog walkers a place to leave them?

Blocked Drain (inside the drain), 25th April
There is a blockage of the drain on London Road East by the bus stop, this is causing the water to overflow into the road and onto the pavement around the bus stop causing a slip hazard to pedestrians and a skid hazard to trafic and busses. Additionally the water is feeding vegetation in the road and pavement and there is a significant amount of weed and grass growth on the highway and pavement.

Ba1 6sg, 24th April
A number of houses at this postcode are experiencing a toxic chemical smell on a regular basis after heavy rainfall. Wessex water have investigated the problem on 2 occasions in the last week and cannot see the cause. They have made a recommendation to get BANES to clear local gullies as they wonder whether there is something within there that is causing the smell after heavy rainfall.

Cars blocking front door gate, 23rd April
We have a very narrow pavement outside our front door gate. Cars are consistently parking on the pavement blocking our access. We would like the double yellow lines to run slightly further so that our gate cannot be blocked.
Please see pics. This is two separate vehicles over the past 2 days. It’s a daily occurrence.

There is building materials like glass and plastic strewn on the footpath up solsbury hill. Tried to move most of it off the path for animals and cut my hand very badly. Many pieces are too big to carry away

High |Bannerdown is a cut de sac so the entry and exit road gets a lot of wear., 16th April
Every dwelling has to exit and entry by the same stretch of road, which has several potholes which I have reported some months ago to no avail. They are only getting worse, on this very small stretch of road. There are other potholes in the development but the most severe are on entry and exit.

On the main road(valley view road) right oposite 31 rosehill, there is a large uneven stretch of grooves in the road., 15th April
This part of the road urgently needs attention. I came down the hill on my bike and needed to go across in the centre of the carriage way to stop myself from being flung off. When the daylight has gone, this is an accident waiting to happen. Please do something with this.

This has been like this for quite awhile and is dangerous if you are coming down the hill from the top of hill view road. Especially on a two wheeled bike
