W001 High Street Freshford School Flashing Warning Light, 23rd April
From reports of this issue the contractor attended and the issue was fixed yesterday. However I checked this morning at school time (0830) and the warning sign not functioning (flashing). As a result there remains no warning to motorists on the High Street approach or the Freshford Lane approach (sign damaged and collapsed in to hedgerow).
Thank you.

On a sharp bend in Staples Hill, just after the turning to Iford., 5th April
The potholes are on a steep bend on Staples Hill. This is at least my fourth call-out for this part of the road. Your teams come to fix the problem, but the camber and amount of traffic means that unless the whole of the bend is resurfaced, potholes will keep occurring. Currently, the potholes on the bend are very dangerous for all road users, particularly cyclist and motorcyclists.

Road from Iford Bridge to A36 - gullies and large potholes since flooding, 14th March
Please note that your contractor has not fixed this problem (previously reports have been wrongly closed). I think they confused us with Freshford whose flood damage was being repaired today. The damage has been there since the last flood on 21 February.
Since the three floods at Iford earlier this year the road surface at Iford has been awful where the flooding occurred. Whilst we have cleared all of the debris from the road for you, we are left with dreadful potholes, that look like shallow puddles but one is actually inches deep, between Iford Bridge and Iford Mill.
The only way to drive past the deep pothole, which is impassable, is to use the layby to the side of it, but that requires that no one is parked there (and it is a busy layby for dog walkers to park)
However, the whole lane up to the A36 from Iford Mill has suffered from the sides of the road simply being washed away. In places deep gullies have formed where torrents of water were pouring down the lane into the river after heavy rain during the floods. It makes it difficult to drive the lane and even harder to reverse when you meet a car coming in the opposite direction.
This is a well used lane, and will be even more so once we reopen our gardens on 30th March. We would be most grateful if you could please at least fix the potholes, and deep gullies before then. Thank you.

Road between Iford Bridge and The Mill, 12th March
Since being flooded twice this year the road surface has a number of potholes/ issues and there is one particularly large pothole that cannot be driven over. The entire lane down to Iford from the A36 is also suffering from the edges of the road having been washed away as large volumes of water created gullies and washed the road edges away. The problem varies at different points along the lane

The road surface is broken up after flooding, 12th March
The road near the river crossing has been closed for several weeks with no sign of any works taking place. It is a bus route and a main route into Freshford. I have spent time and money on going a longer route into work for what is actually a very small stretch of damage.

Freshford Inn road surface, 11th March
The broken road surface was supposed to be fixed by 2nd March and still hasn't been touched. Cars are still driving through because the diversions are so long. When will this be done? The Farleigh Hungerford junction is always so congested and the Iford diversion is a really dangerous junction. This should have been fixed weeks ago.
