Dangerous pavement east of Mere By Pass A303, 10th January
10th January 2022. The pavement is the only pedestrian access to Mere from BA12 6AY along which primary school children walk daily. Today there was yet another accident on this stretch of road which could have been fatal for a pedestrian. Mercifully, no pedestrians were involved today.
This matter has been raised before without success. Highways England already own the land on the south side of the road between BA12 6AY and the turning to Burton where there is ample room to provide a safe footpath.

No Andover / Honiton sign post at A303 junction, 11th October
Coming out of West Knoyle onto the A303 from the road known as 'The Cleeve', there is no sign post indicating the correct directions for Andover and Honiton (see http://goo.gl/maps/jkgWR). I think this is necessary because if the wrong direction is taken by mistake, turning round on such a busy road can be very difficult and dangerous.

Enormous pot holes across road, 6th February
3 enormous pot holes across the road and the side of the road disintegrating. There are more holes appearing further up the road. Will be un-passable very soon. One person has already seriously damaged their car.
