Multiple Huge Damaging Potholes, 21st February
Potholes on the left side of the road have been there for around a month now and further flooding has made them bigger and deeper. New potholes have also formed. The whole width of the road is now affected and they are bad enough to cause damage to car wheels. Flood water from blocked drains is making them impossible to see until you hit them with a BANG. As the flood water receeds inbetween heavy rain showers cars are swerving into oncoming traffic to avoid them. Extremely dangerous to other road users and cars integrity

Flooded road massive lake, 19th February
Massive deep lake on the bend of the lane, water pouring down a gulley between two fields, coming down from the nearby farm, being used as a run off, no problems here for years until new farm building constructed, all the drains in the vicinity are also blocked and pouring like rivers down the roads 24/7

Blocked drains . Flooding., 19th February
The drains are blocked on both sides of the road. Allowing the water coming off the fields to flow down the road causing flooding further down the lane. The road is permanently wet, when the weather gets colder it turns to ice making it treacherous. There is no regular maintenance to the drains or the road. To add to the difficulties the green grit bin is broken(has been for at least a year) meaning we have no grit put down .

Will take photos in due course. Very large pothole once again has reopened. The sharp corner just before is a poor crumbling surface but the pot hole is just before the bend and is unavoidable

RTC - Bend signs danaged / Missing, 16th December
A vehicle has driven into a hedgerow and damaged the bend signs and taken out their posts. The vehicle had registration of OE57 ENU and was removed by the Police about 6.15pm on 16/12/2023.

Farm discharge/pollution into watercourse, 18th November
There is a brown/black discharge in the water running along the highway and into the stream. Suspected runoff slurry from agricultural land which will be detrimental to the stream habitat and should be stopped.

Massive flood and deep running water, 10th November
A huge deep lake at this point by the field, water running off from the new agricultural buildings and the blocked drain at the end of Tinkers Lane (corner of Newbury school), accumulating in this big lake, no run off onto the fields as the gateway was altered in the summer...
