Silt and debris on juction, 8th November
Today, I was almost in an accident at this junction with a quarry lorry travelling at speed from Whatley to Holwell. Due to a build up of mud, rubble and silt from recent weather conditions the road markings at this junction are now not visible. The conditions also make it difficult to accelerate away from the junction and must be extremely dangerous for motorcycles. These conditions are gradually getting worse as the weeks go on.

Give way markings non existent!, 20th May
Please please renew the giveaway markings at this crossroads!
The markings have almost completely worn away and in certain weather conditions it makes the junction ‘invisible’. On two separate occasions I’ve had vehicles shoot across in front of me as they clearly didn’t realise it was a giveaway junction. I’m also aware of at least one bad accident there in recent times.
The quarry lorries have also worn ‘grooves’ into the road which further adds to the effect of the junction being invisible, particularly in wet weather.

A pot hole, approx 100mm deep surrounding a metal drain at the bottom of Knap Hill ., 6th February
At the bend at the bottom of Knap Hill a pothole approx 100mm deep surrounding the metal grating of a surface water drain has appeared within the last 2 / 3 weeks. As it is on the apex of the bend (left hand side of the road coming down the hill) it is virtually invisible to traffic coming down the hill until the last minute and is particularly dangerous to motorcycles & bicycles hugging the bend. As you will see from the attached photos I have surrounded the hole with white paint to make it more visible to traffic. Also a few yards up the hill , before the bend. 2 smaller potholes approx 25mm deep x 200mm diameter are forming also

The Disabled bay and Bus bay are not clearly marked as the paint has faded to the point where it’s unrecognisable as designed bay. This is causing dangerous parking for the school bus and the disabled children attending school and nursery. The keep clear markings are also very worn.
