The stretch of road eastward from Cultercullen to Foveran has to many deep dangerous potholes to place on the map. This narrow road is now a real danger to drivers particularly if you encounter a bus or one of the many trucks and tractors that is it.

Huge pothole on main road through Cultercullen, 16th January
Enormous and deep pothole, serious damage to cars if hit. Getting bigger and bigger all the time, can’t be seen when filled with water. Has been here for months, previously reported by other residents in the village but nothing has been yet and the issue is getting worse. Cannot be avoided when traffic coming both ways and is a hazard for people passing through who do not know it is there. Residents have put the cone out to mark it.

Very deep potholes, 5th April
Two very deep potholes between Fiddesbeg and Mill of Fiddes. One pot hole is on a bend in the road and an accident could be caused by motorists trying to avoid it. There are also several potholes along the road from Cultercullen to Tillery, one of which is very deep

Various pot hokes, 14th March
All along the Udny station to Foveran rd there are extremely deep potholes. The pull in places can’t be used safely as the holes are so deep and the rd is all breaking away. Very dangerous considering the amount of lorries and buses that use the rd, which you have to pull over for.

Series of potholes, 14th March
After the last bout of snow the road here is in really poor condition - a string of large and deep potholes on the left side of the road and in the junction turn. Is a narrow road and makes it hard to pass other cars.

A number of potholes between Cultercullen and Foveran, 7th February
10 to 12 potholes make driving hazardous particularly if you encounter one of the many heavy trucks or service bus which use this narrow road. One of the many deep dangerous holes is at the entrance to a passing place which places an unnecessary difficulty when yielding to an oncoming vehicle.
