There are two footpaths at this point but only the one straight ahead is passable due to corn planted on the left hand one. No polite sign requesting we detour which would have been appreciated. Please note that there is a wheat field beyond this that is similar and lacking a footpath sign! Cheers

9 inch pothole beside road
13th February
A huge pot hole has opened up beside the road. There is a 9 inch drop from the road surface into a hole/gulley that has formed. My car went into the hole. On the approach to the village. Another vehicle had passed in the opposite direction and my car slid into the hole. My passenger front tyre exploded with a huge bang and the inner side of the wheel was deeply scoured

Large tree branch hanging off leaning tree

This branch shattered a school minibus sunroof and is blocking the way of the road. Cars and lorries are having to turn round. The scho minibus described this as on Barn Hill but when I went to see it to take a picture, it is actually on Quarry Road. Sorry.

Rough channel across the road due to unfinished road work.
4th July
There is a channel across the full width of the road here where I would guess a pipe or cable has been laid. The channel has been filled in with loose material but has not been covered with asphalt, so the loose material has been able to come out and has left a very harsh pot hole across most of the road. As the filling material can still come out, this situation will continue to get worse. Sorry - I don't have a picture.
