Slip Hazard, 16th February
Whilst walking with my wife and dog as we came to ascend the steps from the woodland opposite the bridge and entrance to cunningham clough, my wife slipped and fell on the steps due to an accumulation of mud and wet leaves. If these steps were maintained regularly this incident would not have happened. This needs urgent attention to save this from happening again.

Large MAN lorry left on residential street permanently., 24th January
Large lorry has not moved for several - at least 6 months. It is listed as SORN: but is on the street. Has been reported before but is still there. Also same vehicle - the number plates do not match the lorry colour (lorry is dark blue) .

Angled road/pavement, 19th January
The road and pavement are sloped slightly however over time this has increased creating a small valley this is causing damage to our cars and the cars of whomever comes to our property.

Large Potholes and Cracking, 8th January
Large potholes with tarmac that is breaking down. Deep enough to cause cyclists problems and cause damage to wheels. Issue existed before January but has become a lot worse over the Christmas period.

Speed bumps are too high, 18th September
The speed bumps that have been installed are too high and have resulted in damage to my vehicle. On driving over one of the bumps my rear spring snapped and I am now unable to use my car for work until it is fixed at considerable cost.

Vehicle continually illegally parking at the junction of Mill Lan/Hindley Road Daisy HIll Westhoughton, wholly on the Kerb next to doubleYellow lines YY16ZVZ, 8th February
Vehicles parked here block visibility when vehicles are exiting Mill Lane on to Hindley Road. This causes close calls for accidents for all road users, cycles, motor bikes and cars and causing on obstruction for pedestrians. Parking next to yellow lines on a kerb is illegal and dangerous. Regular parking patrols on the early mornings and evenings at least are required and the owner the car which parks illegally regularly needs to be contacted and advised of the dangers and the law and not to park there from now on

Vehicle parking illegally whollymon the kerb next yellow lines at the junction of Mill Lane and Hindley Road Daisy Hill Westhoughton, 8th February
Driver regularly parks illegally next to double yellow lines but on the kerb, causing an obstruction to pedestrians and road users. The vehicle blocks visibility when trying to exit Moll Lane and has nearly caused accidents with motorbike cyclists and cars. The area needs to patrolled for parking violations and the owner of the vehicle instructed to remove the park and not to park there again

Car abandoned, 26th January
There has been a black car left half on the pavement have on the road on jacks slowly being stripped of parts. This is a danger to the public as it’s in a unsafe position jacked up on the front end on the pavement. A child could mess underneath and be crushed. There is parts been slowly removed from this vehicle and has lots of unusual items stored inside it. It’s been here over a month this needs addressing asap.

Lights are still not repaired, 29th December
Street lamps 29 to 33 on Hindley Road Westhoughton are still unlit and have been for at least 2 months despite them previously having been reported. These LED lights are dim enough at the best of times and not working makes visibility even worse.

More potholes, 28th December
More pot holes appearing in the road. The existing ones that are still awaiting repair are getting bigger but more are appealing. Stones are being flung up all over the place and causing vibrations as cars pass over.

Pot holes getting worse, 15th December
The pot holes have deteriorated even further, including the partially repaired pot holes which has the tarmac lifted off already. Stones are being flung up from the road and damaging property. This area of road needs to be properly fixed.
