Dangerous junction/roundabout, 11th May
The roundabout at the entrance to hollingthorpe estate is dangerous. This is due to drivers taking no notice of it. Those driving straight up stoney lane towards haigh don't slow down or give way to traffic coming out of the estate. Those coming down stoney lane drive straight over or the wrong way round the roundabout causing dangerous encounters with other drivers. And the parking from parents dropping kids off at school are causing obstructions as they are parking right up to the roundabout on the main road and on the estate too.

Speed Limit Signs Obstructed, 3rd July
The 40 MPH speed limit signs on both sides of the road are obstructed by overgrown vegetation. Chevet Lane was recently treated to works by Wakefield Council, such as high-friction surfaces to improve safety. Why were the speed limit sign obstructions ignored? Surely making sure they are visible is part of the safety of this road. These particular signs have been obscured since before the safety works commenced.
