Chaos-3 way traffic lights and nothing happening, 3rd April

Wed, 03 Apr 2024 12:32:51 +0100
53.694747 -1.540897

This is the second time in 2 weeks that whoever doing this work has completely disrupted lives in a dangerous way. I complained last week that one of the contractors had knocked over a sign on Wrenthorpe Close because of parking over the pavements. This week there are 3 way lights on the junction of Batley Road and Wrenthorpe Lane which people jump and block the junction. Currently a number of contractor vehicles, laughably one is traffic management, all with operatives sitting in them and nothing being done. It is an absolute joke. Exactly what are they not doing? Very unhappy as you can tell. Is there any council supervision for this chaos? .

Road sign leaning, 27th March

Wed, 27 Mar 2024 13:09:50 +0000
53.695581 -1.539577

Yesterday there were traffic lights and works on the corner of Wrenthorpe Close and Wrenthorpe Lane, a number of works cans and operatives involved and parked on the pavements. This morning I noticed the street sign for Wrenthorpe Close has clearly been driven into and is now leaning against the knee rail. I hope the contractors responsible have reported it but given their parking yesterday i doubt it.

Tue, 04 Apr 2023 15:51:22 +0100
53.699833 -1.525756

The road surface is uneven and a trip hazard, there is even a brick sticking out of the road. Utility companies are required to reinstate to good conditions, and if they had left the road in the state the council have then the council would insist that they rectify the issue. Please resurface the road before a toddler or elderly person trips over.
