Estate Agent’s Board Contravening Regulations, 19th March

Tue, 19 Mar 2024 22:52:44 +0000
51.426222 -0.375046

Surely this board cannot have deemed consent. (1) It does not have permission to be placed here (2) It is entirely unclear what it relates to (3) What does “Spoken For” relate to? The hedge? The hedge is maintained by a local grounds maintenance team. (The sign will just serve to obstruct hedge trimming) The hedge is not owned by any nearby house or flat owner. Surely it cannot be ‘spoken for’? Reference: The Town and Country Planning (Control of Advertisements) (England) Regulations 2007? Specifically: As described in Schedule 2 - The Standard Conditions And/or as described in: Schedule 3 (Classes of advertisement for which deemed consent is granted), Part 1 (Specified classes and conditions) Class 3 (Miscellaneous temporary advertisements)

Estate Agent’s Board Contravening Regulations, 19th March

Tue, 19 Mar 2024 22:10:39 +0000
51.425225 -0.376693

Surely this board cannot have deemed consent. (1) It does not have permission to be placed here (2) It is entirely unclear what it relates to (3) There is no clue as to what the word “success” relates to. Does it relate, maybe, to success in spoiling the ‘look’ of the local area, or maybe success in annoying local residents, or maybe success in clearing some local drains of an obstruction? If the sign were fixed to, or within the boundary of, a property one might guess it relates to a transaction? Maybe a property has been let or sold? But even if this was the case, meaning has been obfuscated - let or sold - who knows? There is no clear word on the sign to indicate that it relates to the sale or letting of a property so surely, again, it cannot have deemed consent.

A raised wide sleeping policeman across Hampton Lane has damage at both sides and on top, 15th March

Fri, 15 Mar 2024 17:45:54 +0000

There is a huge pothole on top 1ft wide 3ft long. The road has 24 hour busses and I am constantly woken at night by the noise that reverberates through the house causes by speeding 111 busses. During the day the local schools have coaches which also cause noise, as do any large speeding vehicle. It is a nightmare. There is also a lot of loose gravel which is dangerous.

I live in Green close on border of Hampton. You can literally see where the road moves to Hounslow due to the amount of weeds growing out on the roads. Green close is shocking and I should not have to do it myself. Please Hounslow council - let’s take some pride and get our roads cleaned up - compared to Richmond council we are being failed on this issue. Bear road Tesco is always a mess as well with bins overflowing .. can you get someone out to remove all of the weeds in the surrounding area

The Alders - damage to newly planted tree, 13th March

Wed, 13 Mar 2024 10:21:20 +0000
51.432099 -0.384192

Dear Hounslow Highways I am writing to file a complaint regarding damage to tree roots of newly planted tree and an unapproved driveway at 19, The Alders. Residents at this property have been repeatedly driving vehicles across the pavement, damaging the tree located there by compacting the soil around its roots. This action is likely causing harm to the tree's health and stability. Furthermore, they appear to be using an unauthorized driveway onto the pavement, lacking a dropped kerb. This access point creates a safety hazard for pedestrians and potentially damages the pavement structure itself. I am concerned that the continued use of this unauthorized driveway and disregard for the pavement will cause further damage to the tree and surrounding area. I kindly request that your department investigate this matter and take appropriate enforcement action.
