TR6 is a postcode in the Truro district, located in the county of Cornwall, England. It is largely rural in character, with a few small suburban and industrial areas dotted within its boundaries. It covers Probus, Tregony, Tresillian, Trewithian, and parts of Grampound and St. Erme.

TR6 forms part of the wider Truro postal area, which includes a number of neighbouring postcode districts. TR6 covers a relatively large area extending from the centre of Truro in the south to the outskirts of Wadebridge in the north.

The postcode is predominantly agricultural in nature, and is home to a variety of farms and smallholdings. There are also a number of small industrial parks. The urban element of the district takes the form of scattered settlements such as Probus, Tregony, Tresillian, Trewithian, and parts of Grampound.

The landscape of the district is relatively undulating, with the central part of it is characterised by the gently sloping fields of the eastern part of the district. There are, however, a number of higher points in the district, with the highest point being the 200 metre hill of St. Erme, which lies close to Tregony.

TR6 contains a number of notable tourist attractions, such as the fourteenth-century church of Tregony, the little streams and woodlands of Tresillian and Trewithian, and the ancient manor houses of Grampound. There are also a number of ancient monuments and a notable system of pre-historic defensive earthworks.

The local economy of the district is largely based on tourism, supplemented by agricultural activities. Local businesses are mainly small family enterprises, although a few larger businesses have established themselfes in the industrial parks.

The district is served by the A390, which runs from Truro to Wadebridge, and is crossed by the A3075, which joins Truro with the villages of Probus and Tregony. There are regular buses running from Probus and Tregony to Truro, with stops in Grampound and St. Erme. The nearest mainline railway station is located in Truro.
