The area is served by a number of transport links including regular bus and coach services to nearby towns and cities, such as Torbay, Kingskerswell, Teignmouth, and Exeter. Furthermore, Torbay has two railway stations – Torre and Torquay – which offer regular services to neighbours Plymouth and Exeter.

TQ10 has an overall population of 26,557 and is home to a wide diversity of people, representing a range of nationalities, religions, and cultures. The disabled population form 18.9% of the total, while 23.6% of the population are aged 58 or above. It also includes key areas of integrated health and social care services such as Torbay Hospital and The Hospices of South West England.
