In addition, TN35 is home to a number of historic sites, including Battle Abbey, which was built on the site of the Battle of Hastings, and Hastings Castle, which has been standing since the 1100s. The area is also home to a popular theatre, The White Rock, which was built in the 1930s and stages a variety of shows and live music events.

TN35 has a thriving public transport system that links it to London and other nearby towns and cities. The main rail line is provided by Southern Rail, which provides direct services to and from London Victoria. For journeys further afield, there are several coach services that depart from Hastings Bus Station.

The local economy is relatively diverse, with the Hastings Marina area having developed into a business, leisure and retail centre, while the likes of Getronics and Hastings Direct provide workers in the area with employment. A number of small independent businesses can also be found in the area, offering a variety of shops, restaurants and services.

Education in the area is served by a good selection of nurseries, primary and secondary schools, and further education establishments, with Hastings College serving those aged 16 and above. In addition, the area has a large retail park on the outskirts, and a number of supermarkets and other national retail chains.

TN35 is a beautiful and diverse part of East Sussex that has something to offer for everyone. From its historic sites and fantastic nature reserves, to its thriving economy and excellent transport links, it truly is a great place to live, work and visit.
