FIXMYSTREET IN TN28 8SS
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of TN28 8SS:
People illegally parking, 23rd April
There are double yellows outside at the end of Littlestone road and people are constantly parking there to access the flats as some are rented out as AIR B&Bs! People think that if they park on the grass verge then they are not breaking the law as they are not on the yellow lines but over from them! The grass verge has been ruined. People are constantly pulling in my drive to unload their cars and think it’s ok to leave it parked there! If a holiday maker is arriving late in the evening ive even had people pulling on my drive thinking that I wouldn’t need access to get in or out. Pulling out my drive is horrendous as i cant see the cars coming from the corner. I don’t understand why this is the only place without concrete polls in this little area to stop people from parking and they are certainly making the most of it

Grass verges, 8th May
Whilst I appreciate nature, the grass verges and roundabout are in need of serious attention. The area looks really uncared for. Other areas seem to get these areas cut on a regular basis yet we pay the same taxes and our lucky to get the grass cut two or three times a year. It’s almost two feet high in places
