Brotton is a village within the borough of Redcar and Cleveland in the Teesside district. It is an old mining town with a long history of iron ore extraction and production, and has been home to the Busby family for more than 200 years. Home to a number of amenities such as churches, shops, a sports club and the Anderson Centre, which provides educational and recreational activities and courses for the local community.

Sedgefield is another village within the borough of Redcar and Cleveland in the Teesside district. It is situated 3 miles south-east of Stockton-on-Tees and is the birthplace of the Prime Minister, Tony Blair. It has maintained a strong agricultural background, with various market gardening and poultry production, as well as a number of pubs, shops and other amenities.

These four areas, covered by the TS22 postcode, are small villages and towns in the Teesside district, and are home to a variety of attractions, activities and businesses. They are all well-connected to the nearby towns and city of Middlesbrough, providing excellent access to shopping, entertainment, educational facilities and transport links.
