In terms of property, TS19 has a mix of terraced, semi-detached, detached and bungalow properties with a range of prices to suit different budgets. It also benefits from close proximity to the beautiful Tees Valley countryside and excellent transport links to Middlesbrough, Darlington, Newcastle and the North East.

The postcode is served by the local newspaper The Billingham Post and various other local media and radio outlets. Its business community is largely centred around retail, manufacturing and engineering, with some major employers in the area. With low unemployment and low crime statistics, it is a safe and friendly place to live.

In terms of local attractions, TS19 boasts some of the best beaches on the North East coast, along with picturesque villages, historic castles and other places of interest. The area is also well known for its many art galleries, theatre productions, festivals and other events.
