Potholes, 6th March
I counted a series of potholes, at least 20 or more, in the inside lane and along the edge of the hard shoulder over a long stretch of the M4 westbound between marker posts A165-A170. I have hit these at speed on a previous occasion on the M4 and felt the car jolt dangerously. I notice many of these were reported in January and have not been fixed. I personally consider potholes on a motorway to be extremely dangerous. I hope these get addressed before they cause an accident.

Road surface disintegrating, 20th January
Road surface in Lane 1 is breaking up at very regular intervals along a 2 to 3 mile stretch from approx markers M4 A 164 to M4 A 166.5. Won't take much more wear for a series of potholes to develop. First noticed today, Sat 20th Jan 2024.

There are a series of potholes., 14th May
There is series of potholes, from about 2 miles or so in, travelling west before Junction 18. They are on the inside lane. Could present serious issues for motorcycles, particularly in the dark following heavy rain, when they would be full of water and difficult to see.

No footpath reinstatement, over a month after the crop was sown., 2nd January
The footpath across this field was always re-made while Nigel Smith farmed at Church Farm. Since he died, the land has been rented out and no-one seems to care anymore about the maintenance of the right of way across this field. This is the second season (at least) during which no footpath reinstatement has taken place here.

Bridleway blocked by gatepost - gap only 3 feet wide., 31st December
This field entrance was massively altered last year, and has never been returned to a navigable status for those on foot, let alone horseback, yet it's a bridleway. Because it's out of the way, nothing appears to have been done, despite my earlier reports concerning the same route.
