Visitors to the SA20 postcode are encouraged to explore its rolling countryside. There are a number of country parks in the area, along with a solitary park and nature reserve. Outdoor pursuits, such as hill walking, are popular in the area, while there are also a number of golf courses and nature trails to explore.

The area is also home to a number of historic sites, including Carew Castle, a 13th century tower house, and the ruins of the 12th century Pembroke Castle. Additionally, there are numerous well-preserved archaeological sites, including standing stones, ring cairns, hill forts and earthworks.

The SA20 postcode is also home to numerous places of worship, such as churches, chapels, abbeys and cathedrals. One particular sense of religious history is the New Quay Baptismal Pool, where Calvinistic Methodists baptised members in the past.

In terms of leisure activities, the area is home to the largest indoor water park in Wales and the south-west of England. There is also a wide range of places to eat, drink and shop throughout the area, and many activities to suit all tastes. The village of Bancyfelin is particularly popular for its farmer's market and annual food festival.
