Other than this, there are several major road links, such as the A78 (which runs roughly through the middle of the postcode), the A741 (which connects Renfrew and Inchinnan in the east of the postcode), and the M8 motorway (which connects the region to Glasgow in the south and Edinburgh in the north).

There are a few places of interest in the postcode as well. In the north, Cardonald is home to the 64 acre Boden Boo Country Park, which is home to a hilltop viewpoint, while the south is the home to Paisley Abbey, a former monastery and one of the most impressive religious buildings in Scotland.
