Very poor road surface, uneven and potholed, 16th April

Tue, 16 Apr 2024 11:11:31 +0100
55.847482 -4.55147

The problem is at the bad corner on the A761 where the grip surface has become really uneven with potholes covering a majority of the area. It is a bad bend at the best of times however it's now dangerous due to the condition of the road and road users are having to try and avoid these potholes whilst navigating the corner. This has been this way for a while however s getting progressively worse

For at least the last 6 months these potholes have been around, they’r3 made worse because of the water from the broken ditch at our gate continually running through & over them. It’s a skating rink when it’s frosty!!

Holes also on the anti skid surface at the corner between here and Burndale. This is a 60mph rd and there have now been multiple head on collisions . These issues need addressed urgently before someone is killed .

Bus stop stinks of urine, 1st March

Fri, 01 Mar 2024 08:43:48 +0000
55.840134 -4.550863

Bus drivers have been using the bus stop at Kilbarchan Primary School to urinate while working. As a result the bus stop now stinks of urine and is unhygienic. Kids frequently use this bus stop for school and nursery and the smell is only getting worse. Not very hygienic. As they are using the inside of the bus stop to urinate the rain is unable to wash it away and leaves it to sit and smell.

Potholes on either side of island and missing reflective bollard, 5th February

Mon, 05 Feb 2024 18:10:57 +0000
55.862438 -4.585964

Either side of the island as you enter and exit the village has unavoidable potholes that have worsened with the bad weather and are becoming a risk of a puncture. They have been here for a few months now. There is also the issue of the reflective bollards. They were repaired a couple weeks ago and now the reflective sign as you leave the village is lying on the verge further down the road. Surely there is a better solution for this as it is an ongoing issue for them to be knocked off. It is a safety issue when driving in the dark.
