FIXMYSTREET IN OX15 0PE
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of OX15 0PE:
12 inch pothole wide, towards Banbury just before the crest of the hill, facing the canal., 15th April
These potholes have been refilled multiple times and again has failed. You can’t not hit either of them as they are both in the lane. To avoid you either have to drive slow and inches from the kerb, or over the solid white line just to avoid them.

Dropped kerb is too high, 15th April
My partner’s wheelchair is unable to get up the dropped kerb as the coping stone is too high. We have to go out into the road and then come up the grass verge to get back on the pathway. This is very dangerous in view of the speed the cars come along the Clifton Road. The access to the pathway going towards Clifton is missing so would be easy to negotiate. Perhaps the coping stone on the Deddington side of this lane (to Leadenporch Farm) just needs to be removed? Sorry I don’t have a photo but could take one if you require.

Blocked ditch causing surface water flooding, 28th March
During any period of heavy rainfall, blocked ditch overflows and flows into the road causing surface water flooding. Gullies on road cannot deal with the water. This also causes lots of potholes. Previously logged, issue not fixed (ref 5299094, ditch still overflows and goes onto the road, however the large pothole has been attended to). There are still several smaller potholes, which will inevitably get bigger until the issue is resolved.

Road drainage all along this road is blocked/not dealing with rainfall. This causes a stream approx. 1m wide to flow down the road contributing to the flooding under the railway bridge on Station Road.

Flooding at Chapel Close, 12th March
Once again, virtually every time it rains, we experience flooding at the end of our drive, and all the way down Chapel Close. The water overwhelms the drains, pushing back through both the drain and manhole cover outside our property. Looking back up the Close to the main road, there is a veritable river flowing down the main road into the Close. This problem has been ongoing for many years.
