Finally, the area is not only known for its history and attractions, but also for its thriving business community. The district is well served by local shops, post offices and businesses, providing numerous opportunities for people to start their own businesses or further their career prospects. The presence of Oxford Airport has also provided new jobs and investment opportunities for the area, and a number of major international businesses operate within the district.
