The area is well-connected by public transport, with regular buses to and from Nottingham. The nearest train station is Mansfield Woodhouse, located approximately 6 miles away.
NG21 has a number of attractions, with two popular country parks at Sherwood Pines and Clipstone. Sherwood Forest is of course well-known for Robin Hood connections while Clipstone offers a range of historic sites related to nearby Sherwood colliery. Both parks are ideal for walks and picnics.
The nearby town of Mansfield provides more choice for shopping, dining, leisure and entertainment. And for athletes wanting to keep active, there are three golf courses in the area, as well as various football, rugby, cricket, hockey and skating clubs.
