Schools in the area include The Kingsmead School, Isaac Newton Academy, and Oakgrove School. There are also a number of nurseries, such as The Younger Days Nursery and Baby's Days Out, and numerous health and leisure centres.

Wolverton has a wide range of shops, cafes and pubs, as well as a number of popular sports and fitness activities. These include Stoke Ski Centre, Tumble Tots, a swimming pool, and a number of golf courses. Local businesses in the area include The White Hart pub, a variety of health and beauty stores, an art gallery and family-friendly activities such as indoor playgrounds.

For leisure, MK4 has two small lakes, Quarry Rotunda and Goodwood, which are suitable for fishing and other water activities. Despite being a predominantly rural area, Milton Keynes is well known for its shopping facilities, leisure activities and entertainment, with both a cinema and a theatre in the city. The area is also home to a number of small parks, where families can enjoy an afternoon in the great outdoors.
