Urgent Safety Hazard - Large Rock obstructing access on Council Land, 21st April
I am writing to notify you of a significant safety hazard on the road under your jurisdiction. A large rock, potentially having fallen from a passing lorry, is on the corner of a junction on council land, creating a serious obstruction that is putting road users at risk of accident and injury.
This hazardous object on the public highway is extremely concerning, as it poses a particular danger to larger vehicles such as vans, trucks, and emergency services trying to access the road. These larger vehicles may not be able to safely navigate around the rock, leading to the potential for collisions, or causing an accident on the road.
The council may be held liable should any such incidents or collisions occur as a result of this dangerous obstruction. Failing to address this known safety issue could expose the council to significant litigation should someone or their property be harmed, especially given the heightened risk to larger commercial and public service vehicles.
I urge the council to send a crew to remove the rock immediately. The safety of all road users, including those operating heavy goods vehicles and emergency response units, must be the top priority.

Dear colleagues I would like to report the missing weight limit sign on Western Avenue Buckingham which should be 7 1/2 tons and has been similarly removed and not replaced, 21st April
Dear colleagues, I would like to report the missing weight sign on Western Avenue on the Morton Road end. It would appear through discussions with people today in the football club that the sign was removed as it had fallen over and never replaced which I would believe is an oversight, there is a high weight restriction 7 1/2 tons the lorries on this stretch road unfortunately because the sign is no longer there I’m being advised that people are using it for large vehicles over and above the weight restriction. I would kindly ask at this sign is replaced at your earliest opportunity as you will know this estate is full of young families and with many elderly residents and competing with heavy goods vehicles is not acceptable and once you replaced the sign I hope things will return back to normal. On A413 opposite Avenu Road by track alongside Buckingham Rugby, 20th April
Manhole on A413 previously clunked once when driven over. Workmen attended a few weeks ago, since then there has been a double clunk!! Today I drove over it and it felt like a deep pothole. On examination it appears that the frame has sunk and is now dangerous as drivers will swerve to avoid. Needs some warning and a more effective repair/supervision of the workforce.

Pothole on the corner, 17th April
As you turn onto Stowe Castle Road there is a deep pothole that is increasing in size each day.

On the left hand side heading from Buckingham towards Chackmore, over the brow of the rise., 16th April
There is a deep square pothole, which can't be seen easily by the driver, as it over the brow of the rise. It is not easy to avoid as it is in line with the car tyre, and is a narrow road if anyone is coming the other way.

Speeding Moreton road, 13th April
Hi. Would it be possible to have a sign put up just after Beech close stating:" It's 30 for a reason" Cars are travelling well over the 30mph limit coming out of Buckingham and there are no signs to inform drivers of this limit. Also, the sign put up to inform drivers that "STOP means STOP" has been removed. Regards, David.

Overgrown grass obscuring bollards, 12th April
The grass down Stowe Avenue hasn't been cut since I moved in back in September last year.
As it's been allowed to grow it's lowering the visibility of the bollards outside East and West Buckingham Lodge and has lead to vehicles hitting them.
There are 4 bollards (2 outside the road access points of each property).

On the Brackley Road between Stowe Ave - The Cemetry, 12th April
There are very low hanging branches from trees on the grass verge in this location and one of these cut my head open, need to be cut back asap.

The hedge is not maintained (at rear of Highland Mews properties) reported in October 2023 ref 5074652. Reply was that it would be added to works, but not done. This unkempt area has recently attracted garden waste fly-tipping which has covered our water meter in the verge.

Pothole at Junction, 11th April
The pothole is unavoidable at the junction when turning into Western Avenue coming up the hill on Moreton Road. It will cause a cyclist to fall if they do not see it so needs to be repaired.

Sudden erosion of verge, 9th April
The verge next to the carriageway has disintegrated at a rapid speed and there is a large chasm alongside the pavement, with potential sever consequences for any vehicles slightly misjudging the corner, or for wide farm vehicles.

Corner between Bycell Crossroads and Hedgehog Retreat, 6th April
The pothole on the inside of this blind corner is causing a danger to passing traffic. Some vehicles traveling towards Chackmore drive around it which can result in them drifting across the centre line. Some vehicles travelling too fast in the other direction often cut the corner. There is the potential for a head on collision at the corner.
