In the small open area on Ranston street, there are constant ball games happening, especially in the spring and summer.
This is an issue for five key reasons: 1. Danger to traffic on Ranston street 2. Danger to children playing ball games, given the traffic on Ranston street 3. Excessive noise, shouting and use of vulgar language from those playing in the area; this is hugely disruptive for all residents, especially the elderly 4. Damage to property given the balls are constantly hitting front doors and garage doors 5. Damage to vehicles parked on Ranston street
This issue has been ongoing since the redevelopment of Church Street a couple of years ago. A simple solution would be to ban ball games in this area, which is not unreasonable given how many people are impacted.

I cannot find an appropriate box for this issue. Water is pouring out of an overflow at the top of a townhouse, 44 Hyde Park Square, and flooding the pavement. As the steps to the front door were so wet, I could not risk using them and knocking on the door. I have no idea if the property is occupied or not. Please can someone attend to this soonest. Lamp post was hit by a vehicle on 1 December 2023 then council workmen removed it. The immediate area has been left dark overnight for 4 months which is a danger to the public.
