Unannounced construction and road closure, 24th April
Today on the 24th of April 2024 at approximately 8:25AM, Wilson Street in Central London was closed off my a construction worker and did not allow my vehicle to enter the street to park my vehicle in my council paid parking area (IS-C). There was no announcement of signage of this closure and it was just a person blocking the road and not allowing me to pass. I was forced to make an illegal left and turn into Wilson Street from Sun Street in order to park my vehicle in my paid council parking space. I will not accept any PCN or fines due to the incorrect management of the construction and the unlawful order from the construction worker that I was not allowed to enter the street.

Library sign wrong direction, 24th April
Hello, this is the Una Marson library. On Thurlow Road we have a sign to indicate the location of the library. Some days ago someone moved it in the wrong direction. Flytipped old white fridge & broken chair, 24th April
These two items were fly tipped outside the communal entrance to Bowley House, Marine Street, approximately 3 weeks ago. They have been reported once and the Council claimed it had removed them. They have not. Bowley House is owned and maintained by Southwark Council.

Inappropriate replacement paving, 23rd April
A couple of weeks ago UK Power Networks dug up this pavement. They effectively vandalised the existing granite paving slabs and have now replaced these with tarmac. This is unacceptable and they should be made to replace the the paving like it was.

Infected trees, 23rd April
My Name is Daniela and I’m the Head Housekeeper in the Hoxton Southwark.
I would like to bring to your attention that since mid-March all large trees in front of the hotel have been badly infected with tiny black flies and the trees are releasing a large amount of sticky liquid (for more info please see the email below and the attached photos from our plant’s company). Could you please send someone to review the situation and take some action as soon as possible?

Residential and commercial waste dumped, 23rd April
Local residents waste and commercial waste has been dumped by Gym Nations Bins. Please note Gym Nations waste is only place in our appropriate bins. All fly tipped waste is not Gym Nations.

Rat Problem, 23rd April
Frequently, multiple rats can be seen running around Glade Path. This has been going on for months. Rat traps have been placed in the area, however they have not improved the problem as the rats just avoid the traps.
