A5 Northbound, after junction with Humber Road, before flyover., 20th April
The centre guard rail has been damaged for easily more than 6 months now. The gap created has resulted in pedestrians trying to cross the A5 in a dangerous manner.
Recently, flowers have been placed the location, suggesting a death/incident occurred recently.
The relevant authority needs to now act to have the guard rail properly repaired in a timely manner, to avoid a repeat of what may have recently occurred, and to discourage pedestrians from using it in this way.
The guard rail is leaning into the right-lane when travelling northbound, creating a significant hazard for passing vehicles, especially motorcyclists.
