Council workers/ Barnet homes, 17th April
Barnet Homes workers/contractors recently visited Basing Way but only spent a brief 5 minutes in the area before leaving without addressing the litter scattered around the estate, particularly at the back. This neglect is deeply frustrating for residents who have every right to expect a clean environment. It's clear that Barnet Homes is failing in their responsibility to maintain acceptable living conditions. The buildings haven't been cleaned inside for months, and it's evident that the contracted workers need better supervision to ensure the estate is kept clean. Taxpayers' money should be invested wisely, with a priority on cleanliness and maintenance. Immediate action is needed to clean the estate, including the communual areas inside the buildings, and picking up litter, around the estate. Rubbish bins must be placed in their designated areas instead of being left in the road, which only adds to the mess and deprives residents of parking spaces.
