The N16 is known for its green spaces and parks and is served by a number of overground stations, such as the underground stations of Manor House and Finsbury Park. It is also served by the London Overground line with stations such as South Tottenham and Stamford Hill providing connections to other parts of London.

In terms of education, the area is served by a number of primary and secondary schools such as Mossbourne Victoria Park Academy and Highgate Wood Secondary School. It also has a variety of higher education establishments such as London Metropolitan University and the Hasidic girls Yeshivat Ohr Menachem.

In terms of transport, the N16 is well connected with numerous bus and overground services providing access to and from other parts of London. It is also close to the A10 and M25 motorways, allowing easy access by car to other parts of the UK.

The area's proximity to the City of London makes it a popular place to live for those working in the city. The area suffers from some congestion, particularly during peak periods, although improvements to transport links, such as the introduction of local cycleways, are helping to make the area more accessible.
