LL71 includes villages such as Penrhyn Bay, Llanelian, Llanrhos, and Mochdre, among others.

Local bus services run to surrounding areas, and to destinations further away such as Chester, Liverpool, and Manchester. There is also a regular train service from Llandudno Junction to locations throughout North Wales and beyond.

Llandudno is also a well-serviced shopping hub, with numerous supermarkets, independent shops, and local businesses. It has a vibrant nightlife, with several coffee shops, pubs, bars, and eateries. There is also a large selection of indoor and outdoor activities available throughout the district, from hiking and mountain biking to golf, sailing, and watersports.
