Broken stile, 6th June

Mon, 06 Jun 2022 19:33:49 +0100

Both of the uprights of this stile have rotted through completely and provide no support to anyone trying to cross it. The lower cross-piece is missing, too. The entire stile is a tangle of wire and baler twine. Trying to step across is now particularly difficult because it’s tempting to hold onto either upright whilst balancing on the remaining crosspiece and trying to negotiate the baker twine - the result being that grabbing an upright now causes you to overbalance as each upright is unstable and only held loosely in place by the fence wire

Broken stile, 6th June

This ladder stile is now severely weathered to the point at which one of the rungs has completed disintegrated/ is missing. The gate alongside is difficult to pass (as an alternative) as it sits permanently in a deep pool of water. This is a regularly used path by persons going between Garndolbenmaen and the Cae Amos bothy.

Sunken road, 10th November

Mon, 10 Nov 2014 21:07:39 +0000
52.9590012800371 -4.21294412719718

Parts of the road have sunk due to the heavy lorry traffic doing the water work pipe line re-location. The road in this section has very bad bumps and is dangerous to drive over, it could cause the car to lose control if you went over it at the speed limit allowed. I have to slow down to 20 mph to go over it safely. It has been like this for approximately 4 months.
