Here, visitors can take a trip through the Vale of Llangollen on a steam train, and visit the nearby Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, one of the World Heritage protected sites.

The area is also known for its beautiful walkways, with the Llangollen Canal Walk being one of the most popular attractions. Starting in the centre of Llangollen, the walk takes in the wooded gorge of the River Dee and the canal. The walk follows the canal for around 9 miles, ending at the Chirk Aqueduct, the highest canal aqueduct in Britain.

The LL16 postcode area is mainly rural, and home to a diverse range of wildlife.
