Additionally, the L9 postcode provides excellent access to the waterfront, with close proximity to Pier Head and Royal Albert Dock.

The district is one of the most ethnically diverse areas in Liverpool, with a large Somali community in particular. As such, the community is widely represented in many aspects of local culture, with both an annual Somali Week Festival and dedicated Somali radio station.

The L9 postcode district primarily consists of residential areas, with many properties from the late 19th century through to modern family homes. As one of the most sought-after suburbs in the city, prices are at a premium but the district maintains its popularity with families and young professionals alike.
