FIXMYSTREET IN LN9 5DA
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of LN9 5DA:
41 Queen Street, Horncastle, LN9 6BD, 28th March
My neighbour at 41 Queen Street has some sort of learning disability and lives alone. I've already reported a refuse and rat problem to the council but there is also a problem with his hedge at the front of the house which is gradually growing into the footpath.
I have tried to discuss both issues with him politely but he just ignores me and never does anything. I'm concerned that older residents and parents with prams etc are having to step into the road to get past his house.

Mareham road between gleesons site and stonehill farm entrance, 27th March
Yet again mud has been left on the road from gleesons site, the road has been swept from the site entrance towards Horncastle but no attempt has been made to clean the road above the site entrance, even though its obvious the mud has come off the site, the road is very slippery as it has rained. The council needs to make gleesons keep this road in a safe and usable condition before a serious accident occurs.

Removal of litter bin end of cowling close, 21st March
Many years ago I asked the council to locate a bin in this position indicated on the map. It is well used especially as it is a cut through for school children and late night returners from town with fast food containers. I was horrified to find it has been removed and replaced with a dog poo bin. So it still costs the same to empty and service but the poo bin will not hold litter, whereas the lilted bin will do both jobs. Please can we have the bin reinstated asap
