Hello, we need a speed camera at the bottom of Colchester road but before the traffic lights. Too many large Lorries and trucks and cars speed down the road. When large trucks are speeding down the road it causes all our houses to vibrate. We are all fed up. I am writing this on behalf of the residents of Colchester road. Please do something about this.

House Shakes/Vibrates, 15th March
I have recently moved to this property and been noticing that the house tends to shake/vibrate each time a vehicle pass by the humps near the bus stop. My first guess was to be the water flow underneath but then I noticed it was happening only when the vehicles pass the humps.

Tree down, 27th December
A tree or large shrub has come down blocking the whole pavement as this is a school route with children using this pavement on their way to St Pauls they are forced to step into the main A47 which is not a good idea.. The pavement was blocked at least until 2.30pm on the 26th of December 2023 Thanks

Parking on a blind bend!, 17th December
Car parked fully on the path you cannot see oncoming vehicles as you come into the close. Dead end close with young children playing out you cannot see them very dangerous there will be an accident sooner or later. I have nearly been hit head on numerous times due to this vehicle. House has double driveway so no need to block the path or park on a blind bend? I'm not the only person this is affecting. Car belongs to number 1

Ilegally Parked van on road junction, 27th November
There is a yellow Mercedes van that is always illegally parked on the junction of wigley rd and grantham rd, the van is always parked on the corner, which is dangerous and making it very diificult for drivers to to see any approaching vehicles, its only a matter of time before an accident happens.

Street light on alleyway between shops and community centre between Thurncourt Road and Stornaway Road is constantly flashing on and off right in front of elderly residents bungalows.

Overhanging bushes/shivery Trees, 14th October
I originally reported this on 21st July and the problem is worse now as the bushes/shrubs and trees from the garden of 35 Valentine Road overhang the pavement of St Swithins Road and continue to grow even further out with thorns and branches at head height. The people who live in the house have cleared the garden inside but have made no attempt to cut back the outside that is causing a major issue and making it near impossible now to walk on the footpath with out getting scratched or stuck on the bushes

Parking around Sandhills Avenue Roundabout, 7th October
People visiting Nirvana Football Club situated on Hamilton Park are parking on the Sandhills Avenue and the roundabout/on grass verges/on corners/on pavements causing people to have to step into the road to get by, and opposite drives on Columbine Road and Speedwell Drive. This blocks your view when driving making emerging from side roads difficult also visibility is affected when walking and crossing the road. This situation happens every Saturday and Sunday mornings. The incidents have been reported to the police on 101 and they say it is the councils responsibility.
