Big pothole in the road, 12th March
Huge pothole in the road just over the bridge. Couldn’t see due to driving at night, there were 3 cars with punctures on the stretch 200 yards after the pothole. This needs to be fixed asap

Two large, deep potholes, 10th March
Two large, deep chunks of tarmac have come out of the road surface and left deep potholes on the bridge. A car driver stopped to remove the chunks of tarmac from the middle of the road but repair to road surface needed asap.

Poor Seasonal Event Traffic Management, 3rd December
The Christmas Event at Whatton House has in place a very dangerous traffic management system. Poor signage and missing, and lack of warning signs with regards the closure of the central reservation. Several cars have run into the badly placed traffic cones, and there is a risk of a serious road traffic accident on the road as event visitors try and find the entrance to the event. This is made worse by the event being targeted at evening visitors when lack of light, reflective signs, or traffic stewards is causing issues. Whoever set this traffic management system up, only did it in the day time, and only considered traffic traveling to the event from the opposite direction.

Breaking up footpath- Extreme Danger, 7th September
My wife fell due to the very poor condition of the footpath on mainstreet from the pin point all the way to rectory close. The issue is even worse on the narrow section as the pavement and it holes, I have seen people trip and fall into the road; which is very narrow and is on a bus lane, this needs to be addressed, before somebody is seriously hurt.

Inconsiderately parked police car, 19th February
Vehicle License Plate FJ18 HEV was parked at end of Stonehurst Lane, Normanton on Soar. This was a police vehicle blocking access to 5 residential properties for more than half hour. There was space on Main Street for the vehicle to park. There was no police officer present to the discuss the matter with or to ask them to move the vehicle.
