Fairly big hole in the road when turning right from higham road on to cavenham road it’s on the junction., 23rd November

It’s been here for long time but with a small hatchback car it’s quite a lump. I do try to avoid hitting that middle line but when it’s rush hour through the village it’s very hard to not hit it as it allows the traffic behind to come beside and go left on to the high street.

Unpassable highway due to mud, 12th January

Excellent work finished on 9th Jan resurfacing the Icklingham Rd/Temple Bridge Rd in Tuddenham has left another problem. The highways lorries turned round a little distance from the end of the tarmac road and churned up the unmade part of the road & following some rain made it unpassable for saloon cars. This is still part of the highway and provides access to the Nature Reserve & the river Lark. A few yards further hoggin/soil was used to infill two large dips in the road so difficult to see why they drove over the worst bit without doing the same. This muddy area is used as a turning point for many vehicles using this area so requires hoggin or similar rather than soil! Well done for the work already done but please can you reinstate the area beside the access gates to the 'Open access' provide & maintained by Natural England. It is unpassable after a shower of rain. Thank you.

Bus shelter not on Route, 30th July

Fri, 30 Jul 2010 20:43:01 +0100

1.) Buses run by Suffolk CC (Route 356) do not have the Bus Shelter as a stopping point - instead they have White Hart PH - on a dangerous bend. Has been previously reported via the PC. 2.) There is no Bus shelter for travellers going to Mildenhall (not pleasant for Senior Citizens last Winter 3. The dip outside the (non-existing?) bus shelter allows vehicles passing the bus sheleter to spray rain directly into the Bus shelter - not pleasant.

Highway in very poor state to drive or walk, 11th June

Fri, 11 Jun 2010 11:15:09 +0100
52.3166733700795 0.552196947190919

Numerous potholes between Pumping station and the length of tarmac. This road is very difficult to negotiate with car or pushchair or wheelchair due to excess gravel and rubble and many, many potholes. These are difficult to distinguish when the road is wet causing damage to vehicles Some potholes were repaired poorly & temporarily in January still leaving many others. The excess mud and gravel needs to be removed first. Local farmers can not be blamed for any mud until the road is cleaned.
